Why Should I Make the Switch?
The UK government initially planned to ban the installation of gas boilers in new builds by 2025 and ban the sale of gas boilers to existing homes by 2030, this decision was then reversed in September 2023.
Instead, the government now aims to phase out 80% of the UK’s gas boilers by 2035.
The Scottish government has introduced a series of grants and loans aimed to help meet this target.

Who is Eligible?
There are only two requirements to be eligible for this grant. Those are:
- You have to be a homeowner and live in your own home
- You have to be between the ages of 21 & 70 and not in receipt of any benefits
